I became a NY GIANTS fan listening to the Howard Stern Show! I’m glad I did. Was rooting for the Giants that Superbowl Sunday and what I memory I have ’cause of it……GIANTS! ALL DAY!!!

I am a Pats fan and I’ll say I could not have asked for a more exciting game. I was of course bummed with the outcome but hey, can’t be bitter we could easily have lost the other 3 super bowls. Props to Eli and the Giants- he’s developed into one of the NFL’s best. Hope to return to the postseason this year.

  6. kevdaman9 says:

  7. griffconn16 says:

  8. cinderroader21 says:

i was actually rooting for the patriots in this game but i am a die hard ravens fan, i am happier now that the giants won because i was soo ignorant towards eli, and the patriots are just cheaters, go ravens

lol the giants dont have to win another superbowl for another ten years, that play was just unreal eli to tyree. I almost caught a heart attack that day…

    “DowntownPhillie”, you’re sad.

  12. Jubel06 says:

I gotta one phrase response for this nonsense: TUCK RULE!

  13. fghtmeun says:

I think after the catch it was clear the Giants were going to win

  14. shamrockandpotatoes says:

Every time I watch this, I get very tense because part of me strangely still fears that the Patriots will intercept the ball or cause a fumble and seal their title as the greatest team ever.

Thank the Lord that didn’t happen! I watched the Patriots win three Superbowls (one in which I suspect they cheated), Tom Brady be cocky and talk down to other people, and Belichick present himself as the greatest coach ever. The outcome of this game was the ultimate “in your face” to them.

    NYG till i die!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. lupinvash3 says:

I’m sure you were glad, since you wanted the record made by Don Shula and the 70s Dolphins to remain unbroken. I wanted the Giants to win so that way those cheating bastard Patriots wouldn’t.

  17. DowntownPhillie says:

Plax only had 1 foot down when he had FULL possesion of the ball….he didnt catch with his hands he cught with his body

  18. Darkscott626 says:

1st of all, I knew the giants would win =( even though i wanted the patriots to win, when you add up all of the logic in superbowl XLII, then the giants would easily win against the patriots.

2nd, why does nobody remember the 100 yard int touchdown? that was like the coolest play! anyways, i really hated XLII =(

  19. mikmikals says:

You can’t really top a Superbowl like this unless both teams go in 18-0. But I do believe this ends the Patriots dynasty.
    Brady retires with 3 rings.
    (no more Spy-gate remember).

  20. nygiantsguy72 says:

can people compare this super bowl to super bowl 43?
this one was so much better

the giants were supposed to be another team for the greatest team ever to defeat
the great escape by manning and the catch by tyree. and how can people compare that catch to holmes’s. u see the homes catch all the time in the nfl. tell me 1 time other than this that a player did what tyree did pinning the ball against his helmet
holding the pats to 17 points.

    18-1

  21. NYGXTC says:

    1:46-1:47 PRICELESS

  22. psymon208 says:

I would say XLII is probably the best Super Bowl in history, even without “The Play”. Underdogs against an undefeated Patriots, featuring Rodney Harrison and Tom fucking Brady. Incredible.

  23. GoFck22 says:

looks like u knw nothing about football. GoFck says go fuck yourself! have a nice day motherfucker.

  24. ItsMeForAllYouKnow says:

You are absolutely correct. This years Super Bowl had no huge underdog (the Steelers were expected to win, but the Cardinals were not the huge underdogs the Giants were), it didn’t have a team playing to remain undefeated for an entire season for the first time since ‘72, it didn’t have a defense beating the holy-livin’-crap out of the QB on an undefeated team, and it didn’t have “the catch.” No where near as much drama this year. Sometimes people think in the heat of the moment, and spew B.S.

Harry Kalas. He’s been doing narration for NFL Films since the 70’s.
