This is the first time that I am dissatisfied with a purchase from amazon.com. My son wanted the actual Nintendo DS charging cord shown in the picture, the one he got is not anything like the one shown in the picture. It is not a nintendo product,it is round shaped, and it has a much shorter chord. So he was really angry, and wanted to return it, but I told him to keep it for now, and we would try to find the actual nintendo one.

The charger so far is working as it should, but it certainly isn’t what was described in the picture. It’s not an official Nintendo charger, but rather a cheap knockoff.

As long as it works and doesn’t kill my SP, I’m fine with it, but I won’t be buying from SF Planet ever again.

Be aware that the picture is misleading. The picture shows a charger of the original type (from Nintendo), with folding prongs. The unit I received, while it appears to work just fine, is a bit bulkier (and uglier), and the prongs don’t fold down for travelling.
