Classic Game Room HD – 100 CLASSIC BOOKS for Nintendo DS review
Classic Game Room HD reviews 100 CLASSIC BOOKS for Nintendo DS from Nintendo and Harper Collins. The portable bookshelf for your Nintendo DS filled with 100 classic novels like Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Wuthering Heights (in semaphore?), A Tale of Two Cities, Frankenstein, The Time Machine, Black Beauty, Phantom of the Opera, 20000 Leauges Under the Sea, Heart of Darkness, War and Peace and more! Books from writers such as Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Jules Verne and HG Wells are included in this collection as well as some biographical information. This is an ideal travel companion for those who want to bring 100 classics books along on vacation and also play Mario Kart DS. Scrap the laptop and iPad, they can’t play GTA Chinatown Wars on the Nintendo DS. After moving down gang members with an Uzi, you can relax and end your day by reading Emma from Jane Austen. This CGR review of Nintendo’s 100 Classic Books has gameplay (sort of) from 100 Classic Books on Nintendo DS.

Is Lord Karnage a playable character?
July 14th, 2010 at 3:29 am
I just may buy that just because it’s cheaper than buying all these individual books
July 14th, 2010 at 3:44 am
Wow! This isn’t something that I would get, but for what it is, this looks very nice!
July 14th, 2010 at 4:33 am
Do you score points when you finish reading a book?
July 14th, 2010 at 4:51 am
“this does not have multiplayer deathmatch”
July 14th, 2010 at 5:14 am
You have just made my day.
July 14th, 2010 at 5:17 am

July 14th, 2010 at 5:48 am

@SpaniardGamer Twilight was because I couldn’t think of the name of the friggen books with Cthulhu. Seriously. I mean, it’s the same book, right, if Cthulhu would rather eat the Cullens?
July 14th, 2010 at 8:13 am
it should work on the 3DS
July 14th, 2010 at 8:43 am
“No trending teenage vampires” now is that really a bad thing
July 14th, 2010 at 8:59 am
If they are going to do this, they should have added the ability to highlight passages and save them to a folder. Not a bad idea but I think I’ll get a Nook or a Kindle.
July 14th, 2010 at 9:00 am
You’re the only person I have ever seen make “100 books” into a 4 minute review
July 14th, 2010 at 9:24 am
no multi player?
July 14th, 2010 at 9:59 am

July 14th, 2010 at 10:35 am
@lyoth Oh yeah, also, I can’t use firefox either…
July 14th, 2010 at 11:22 am
@lyoth I would, but since this is a school computer, it blocks installing programs. Just downloading is fine, or any programs that install via the internet. I can’t even install windows movie maker T_T. (I use virtual dub and camstudio, that’s really it.)

Now this actually looks interesting and something I would enjoy buying. The English version of DOn Quijote would be interesting to read.

The screen of a DS is too small and the resolution is too low. A 6″ reader tends to be the minimum and even that adds several dozen (or more) page turns when compared to an actual book. A 300 page book on a DS would be like 6000 page turns, I mean you can barely fit three sentences on a single screen!

@PaulHark9 yeah and manga too would be amazing !
July 14th, 2010 at 12:40 pm
I probably reread Journey to the Center of the Earth and read 20,000 leagues under the Sea then throw it away.
