Clash of the Titans Review [PlayStation 3 Xbox 360]
Clash of the Titans is a predictable hack-and-slash adventure that is exactly the type of game that gives movie tie-ins a bad reputation.
My review of the PSP Go (Pearl White) Part 3 and what my impressions of it are. I take a look at Skype, the web browser and gameplay. I love my Go for it’s very small size (only slightly larger than an ipod touch) and because it is very lightweight. I can fit it in a small purse or my pocket very easily. The button redesign is perfect for my small hands, they don’t cramp up (People with big hands might get cramping) but may get numb if I play for long periods of time. The smaller screen yields a sharper image than the older psps. The software is the same as the older psp models but includes Bluetooth settings which the older ones do not. Skype works great on the Go, the web browser depending on your Wifi connection does a decent job. I only have 2 UMD’s, one of which is on the Playstation Network, so it was pretty easy for me to buy the Go. I do plan on buying a cheap used old psp for when I do need a UMD. Otherwise, I am very content and happy with the Go. I use it for gaming, movies, video/audio podcasts and will put some music on it too. Cons are it doesn’t use a regular sony memory stick, now it uses the Sony M2 which some might already have in your cell phones. They are not as cheap as the memory sticks but the prices will probably come down in the future no doubt. You can’t return games you buy obviously, nor trade/exchange or sell them. You have to be more discerning when you buy games with the Go so be careful. The usb port is not the regular one sadly but it uses …

Review: DeathSpank for PlayStation 3
Game developers abhor a vacuum. So while Diablo 3 is on our minds, but is still far off in the future, we’re seeing a few games come along and occupy Diablo fans. Torchlight was a prime example of this and now there is the next action RPG du jour, DeathSpank. DeathSpank takes the play style of Diablo and [...]

Video Game Review: ‘NCAA Football II’ features improved running game
You know, they say that just putting “Tim Tebow” in the headline will guarantee traffic to your Web page. I suppose Electronic Arts was thinking the same thing when they placed Jacksonville’s favorite son on the cover of “NCAA Football 11.” What they’re selling: From EA Sports — “NCAA football fans are some of the most devoted fans out there, and that’s why the NCAA Football 11 team has made …
Alan Wake: The Signal Review [Xbox 360]
The story in Alan Wake’s first downloadable episode lacks a purpose, but exciting combat and a moody atmosphere make this a good addition.

Classic Game Room HD reviews METROID PRIME 3: CORRUPTION for Nintendo Wii. Samus is back in the 3rd Metroid Prime (the 1st two are on Gamecube) and pushed the Wii to its limits with outstanding visuals, smooth gameplay and explosive sounds. Why don’t all Wii games look like this?? This CGRHD review of Metroid Prime 3 Corruption has gameplay footage from Metroid Prime Corruption showing Samus in game play, are you stuck in a section? Well, hope you found this in a search engine because I used the word stuck, Xbox 360 and PS3 (ha!), but I can’t help you there. However CGRHD likes Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and gives it a good review with favorable opinions. Although CGRHD prefers non-stop blasting and explosions, the puzzle and problem solving parts of Metroid Prime 3 will appeal to fans of the series and fans of science fiction adventure games. This is a first person shooter style game that uses the Wii controller and nunchuk to control where Samus aims and moves. It’s a very unique control system that has rave reviews from Wii fans everywhere. Turn into a pinball and roll through tight spots, double jump, use the super fancy-word power up laser thingy and upgrade your awesome space ship. Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is a flagship title on the Wii and is a well made, challenging and lengthy video game from Nintendo. While I still prefer the 1987 NES Metroid, this one is a must play on the Nintendo Wii. Will there be a Metroid Prime 4 release in 2009 or 2010? Is there a …

REVIEW: Manic Monkey Mayhem Review
Get ready to go bananas. Manic Monkey Mayhem is a WiiWare game with purpose. From the outset, your singular goal is to throw bananas at other monkeys. While banana-throwing battles may sound like a fun prospect to some, the game can be reduced to a potentially entertaining multiplayer experience hindered by poor presentation, scope, and controls. The single-player campaign, local or online …
