This outrageous game combines a 3D style hack and slash samuri game with awesome 8-bit NES style missions to earn money for new weapons and clothes. You are Travis Touchdown seeking revenge for something or other and must slaughter your way back up to the top of the rankings by killing assassins who have it coming. Pizza health power ups and naughty ladies of the night keep Travis going as he fights numerous end bosses in this over the top battle / action game for the Nintendo Wii. Classic Game Room HD – METROID PRIME 3 CORRUPTION Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews METROID PRIME 3: CORRUPTION for Nintendo Wii. Samus is back in the 3rd Metroid Prime (the 1st two are on Gamecube) and pushed the Wii to its limits with outstanding visuals, smooth gameplay and explosive sounds. Why don’t all Wii games look like this?? This CGRHD review of Metroid Prime 3 Corruption has gameplay footage from Metroid Prime Corruption showing Samus in game play, are you stuck in a section? Well, hope you found this in a search engine because I used the word stuck, Xbox 360 and PS3 (ha!), but I can’t help you there. However CGRHD likes Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and gives it a good review with favorable opinions. Although CGRHD prefers non-stop blasting and explosions, the puzzle and problem solving parts of Metroid Prime 3 will appeal to fans of the series and fans of science fiction adventure games. This is a first person shooter style game that uses the Wii controller and nunchuk to control where Samus aims and moves. It’s a very unique control system that has rave reviews from Wii fans everywhere. Turn into a pinball and roll through tight spots, double jump, use the super fancy-word power up laser thingy and upgrade your awesome space ship. Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is a flagship title on the Wii and is a well made, challenging and lengthy video game from Nintendo. While I still prefer the 1987 NES Metroid, this one is a must play on the Nintendo Wii. Will there be a Metroid Prime 4 release in 2009 or 2010? Is there a

Classic Game Room HD – SHORTS for Nintendo DS review

Classic Game Room HD reviews SHORTS for Nintendo DS, the Shorts movie was directed by Robert Rodriguez who also directed El Mariachi, Desperado, Spy Kids and Sin City. Shorts is a very average side scrolling platformer for the DS where you play primarily with the D-Pad and Nintendo DS buttons. This CGR review of Shorts the video game has gameplay from Shorts filmed in HD showing the video game play in action. Defeat enemies by shooting them, jumping on them and a variety of other methods. Play as characters from the movie and draw lines on the screen at times to climb on. Watch out for moving platforms, etc… Shorts is aimed at a younger audience and should appeal to kids who are into the film, parents should feel warm and fuzzy about the non-objectionable gameplay. Shorts is rated E 10 and packs some fairly good side scrolling 2D action (the backgrounds are 3D rendered but the game is basically a 2-D side scroller for the DS.)

Classic Game Room HD – SMASH CARS for Playstation 3 review

Classic Game Room HD reviews SMASH CARS for Playstation 3 PS3. This download game from Playstation Network for the PS3 is like the modern day equivalent of RC Pro Am on the NES. Race remote controller cars around tracks full of obstacles, jumps and hazards. The gameplay is a cross between a Super Mario Kart “Kart” style racer and a demolition, combat racer like Fatal Inertia or Burnout Paradise. There are 3 different chassis to choose from and numerous RC car style bodies. Pull off tricks in the air to earn stars and nitrous boost. Fans of fun, outrageous racing games should check this one out, no simulation racing here. This CGR review of Smash Cars has gameplay from the PS3 video game Smash Cars showing game play video from Smash Cars in action on Playstation 3.

Classic Game Room HD – TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS for Nintendo Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews TOURNAMENT OF LEGENDS for Nintendo Wii from High Voltage and Sega. This unique fighting game from High Voltage is published by Sega for Nintendo Wii. It can be played with the classic controller (Classic Controller Pro used for this review) or the standard Wiimote and nunchuk for motion controls. Numerous fighters await you in a different style of fighting game that stands out from the standard fare. Tournament of Legends is not dependant on special moves and button combos, rather it relies on tactical positioning and unleashing huge magic spells after landing hits on your enemy. A fun game that is a shock to the system because of its uniqueness, give it more than a few minutes when you play it. The control scheme is different and requires some practice, but once mastered you’ll probably enjoy your Tournement of Legends! This CGR review of Tournament of Legends has gameplay from Tournament of Legends on Nintendo Wii showing Tournament of Legends game play in HD.

Classic Game Room HD – CASTLEVANIA REBIRTH for Nintendo Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews CASTLEVANIA THE ADVENTURE REBIRTH for Nintendo Wii. This is a downloadable game from WiiWare on Nintendo’s online service for Nintendo Wii. For a few dollars you get a new Castlevania adventure with a retro 2D style reminiscent of the Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis versions of Castlevania. Fans of the old school NES games like Simon’s Quest will get a kick out of the style and gameplay. Amazing synthesizer music with an old school feel pumps through the speakers as you waste eyeballs and skeletons with a whip while moving through the castle. From Konami, Castlevania Rebirth is a cool remake of the Castlevania games that should make fans of the series happy. Now it’s time to whip some eyeball jellyfish! This CGR review of Castlevania Rebirth on Nintendo Wii has gameplay from the WiiWare game Castlevania Rebirth (Wii Ware, Virtual Console)
